改めてじっくり聴いて、人類愛や平和を歌うこの優しくて美しい歌声に、
マイケルの偉大さを再認識させられています。
We stop existing and start living
ただそこに存在することをやめて、僕らは生き始めるんだ
何もしないで傍観してるのは、生きてるとは言えない。
誰かのために何かすることが、生きてるってことだよ。
とマイケルが言っているようで。
スッと心に沁み入ってきて、私がやれることをやらなくちゃ。と自然と力が湧いてきます。
改めてこれを聴いたきっかけというのが、たまたまFBのおすすめで流れて来た、いろんな子どもがこれを歌ったり演奏したりするこの動画。
彼らがこの歌詞の意味するところをどこまで理解してるかなんて分からないけど
君らみんなが、
君らみんなと同じように無垢で美しい世界中の子どもたち全てが、
等しく幸せに愛される世界であってほしい。
そんな風に思わずにいられなかったです。
